Polished Amethyst Quartz Point — Brazil — 300 g

An elongated Amethyst Quartz display point with pale translucent Quartz, cloudy internal areas and contrasting purple colour zones. The violet areas vary in intensity along the piece, giving the long polished faces a layered appearance.

The sides and pointed end have been cut and polished. Reflections from these broad faces make the internal colour bands and natural fractures easier to see as the piece is turned. The photographs show the individual point from two angles; the outdoor background has been retained from the existing advert.
