Description

Green finely stepped Fluorite from Zhejiang Province, China, with a mosaic-like surface across a prominent triangular face. Illuminated wooden display base included. This compact specimen combines a broad principal face with smaller projecting crystal sections around its lower edges.

Closely spaced, block-like terraces cover much of the main face, creating an intricate texture that catches small highlights. Smoother sections and translucent edges contrast with these finely stepped areas. Small recesses between the lower crystals add depth to the irregular outline.

Green tones dominate the specimen, with subtle purple accents visible near some lower edges. The included illuminated wooden base transmits light through the Fluorite, bringing out brighter green colour and revealing fractures and overlapping internal planes. The photographs show the specimen illuminated; its appearance will be darker under ordinary lighting. This lighting effect is not a claim of fluorescence.

Locality supplied as Zhejiang Province, China. Visible fractures, uneven edges and chipped or contact areas are shown in the photographs. The exact specimen, pictured illuminated wooden display base and an Avalon Crystals & Minerals specimen certification card are included.
