Green Fluorite with White Crystal Coating — Zhejiang, China

Green Fluorite from Zhejiang Province, China, combining broad angular faces with a contrasting covering of small white crystals. Subtle violet accents and a softly frosted surface distinguish this compact collector specimen.

One side displays overlapping green faces. Turn the specimen to reveal dense white crystal coverage, with numerous small projecting crystals creating a textured surface. The contrast between the larger green faces and the fine white crystals gives two distinctly different display sides.

The white associated mineral has not been conclusively identified. It is described by its visible appearance without assigning a species. Illuminated and unlit views are included among the five photographs.
