Green and Purple Zoned Fluorite — Zhejiang, China

Green Fluorite specimen from Zhejiang Province, China, with prominent purple colour zoning and overlapping stepped faces. Its broad, low profile and contrasting violet bands distinguish this individual collector piece.

Pale green upper surfaces contrast with darker purple bands running through the lower sections. Angular terraces, shallow recesses and finely textured faces provide detail from different sides. Some faces are softly frosted, while clearer areas reveal the internal colour zones.

The purple zoning follows the angular outlines of selected faces, creating distinct bands between paler and deeper green areas. Turn the specimen to reveal further overlapping terraces and differences in surface texture.

Illumination from beneath reveals brighter green areas and emphasises the violet zoning. The unlit photograph shows its more subdued colour and frosted texture. All five photographs show the exact specimen offered; colour and translucency vary with lighting.
