Green & Purple Zoned Fluorite Cluster — Zhejiang, China

Green and purple zoned Fluorite crystal cluster from Zhejiang Province, China, with projecting angular faces, recessed pockets and an illuminated wooden base included. This specimen has an open, irregular profile, with broad crystals rising above smaller interlocking forms.

Several prominent faces project at contrasting angles, creating deep notches and small sheltered recesses between the crystals. Repeated fine steps run across some surfaces and edges. Reflective areas alternate with finely textured, frosted sections, making the relief particularly noticeable as the viewing angle changes.

Purple bands trace several of the lower crystal sections, contrasting with the pale green body. Viewed on its illuminated wooden base, the thinner areas transmit bright green light and reveal internal fractures and overlapping planes. The unlit photograph shows a softer, less saturated appearance under ordinary lighting. The illuminated photographs demonstrate transmitted visible light, not fluorescence.
