Quartz with Hematite & Pyrite

Description
Clear to milky-white Quartz crystals cover a dark matrix, with red Hematite giving many of the smaller crystals a soft pink tint. Brassy metallic Pyrite adds a contrasting sparkle between the glassy Quartz faces. The irregular cluster has open recesses and varied crystal sizes, giving it detail across the display face.
The recorded locality is Fengjiashan Mine, Daye County, Hubei Province, China. Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite are also recorded as associated minerals. The photographs and specimen video show the contrast between the pale Quartz, red Hematite and darker metallic areas from several angles.
