Stibnite Crystal Cluster with Dolomite
Qinglong Mine, Guizhou Province, China
£195
Description
A sculptural cluster of metallic silver-grey Stibnite blades with contrasting pale Dolomite from Qinglong Mine, Guizhou Province, China. The upright crystals gather into intergrown sprays, with shorter blades crossing the taller columns and giving the specimen depth from several angles.
Fine lengthwise striations catch the light along the crystal faces, shifting from bright silver reflections to darker steel-grey tones. The pale Dolomite sits between the metallic blades, highlighting their angular shape and layered growth.
Weighing 403 g and measuring 100 × 70 × 45 mm, this is the exact specimen shown in the photographs. I am happy to provide further photographs or answer questions before purchase.
